Kyle Whitlow spent years running operations in his family's medical staffing company. When it sold in 2022, he had something most entrepreneurs rarely get: a moment to breathe. To look around. To ask the question that actually matters. What kind of work do I want to build my life around?

The answer came naturally. Kyle has always been an outdoors guy. Camping, hiking, the lake, anything that gets the family off the couch and into fresh air. Colorado's incredible landscape is not just a backdrop for him. It is a core part of how he and his wife are raising their four boys.

That connection to the outdoors pointed him straight toward the landscaping industry. But here is what he found when he looked closer.
